    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College softball team will be back in action this week with six games on tap. LMC will start off the week with a twin bill at Tusculum on Tuesday before competing at the Coker College Spring Tournament with two games on Saturday and two more on Sunday. Tuesday’s contests will begin at 2 p.m., while Saturday’s and Sunday’s will start at 10 a.m. and 9 a.m., respectively.

First, the doubleheader that was originally supposed to be played at Tusculum today will instead be played at 2 p.m. Thursday in Greeneville, Tennessee. Additionally, this weekend’s Lenoir-Rhyne Bear Bash has been cancelled. Instead the Bobcats and Bears will matchup in a twin bill Friday afternoon in Hickory, North Carolina. The start time for that doubleheader is set for 2 p.m.
