    BELMONT, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s lacrosse team fell in the Conference Carolinas Quarterfinals Wednesday afternoon to Belmont Abbey by a score of 20-6. The loss wraps up the 2017 season for the Bobcats, and they finish the campaign with a record of 5-10 overall.
  • Ten LMC Lacrosse Players named Academic All-Conference

    HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College men’s and women’s lacrosse programs had 10 players land spots on the Academic All-Conference teams Tuesday afternoon. Both the men’s and women’s squads had five honorees each. From the men’s team Dane Carney, William Eagle, Alex Gudewich, Allan Smith and Blaine Stottlar were recognized, while Callie Gregg, Sara Henderson, Tiffany Laster, Joelle-Sara Prata and Cheyenne Warrick were the honorees from the women’s squad.

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – Much like it did in 2016, the sixth-seeded Lees-McRae College women’s lacrosse team will head to third-seeded Belmont Abbey Wednesday to open up the Conference Carolinas tournament. The game is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
  • Bobcats clip Converse in regular season finale, 12-11, to earn spot in the conference tournament

    SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Peyton LeCompte scored a team-high six goals to help lead the Lees-McRae College women’s lacrosse team to a 12-11 victory over Converse College Saturday afternoon in Spartanburg, S.C. By virtue of the win and a tie-breaking coin toss, the Bobcats earned a spot in the Conference Carolinas women’s lacrosse tournament.

    BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae College women’s lacrosse team will close out its 2017 regular season this week with a pair of games. LMC will begin the week with a non-conference tilt against Brevard College Wednesday at Tate Field. Following their matchup with the Tornados, the Bobcats will head to Spartanburg, S.C. Saturday for a conference matchup against Converse. These games are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.

LMC and Limestone will face-off Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Gaffney, S.C. LMC will then travel to Franklin Springs, Ga. Saturday for a 4 p.m. tilt against the Lions.
